MY MAD DREAM OF AN ESSAY
Remember that time you ate that spicy [pepper] just before you went to bed on the night before the big [party]? Oh, that weird dream you had about the 2016 presidential election. When you woke up you couldn't quite remember the [bad] details, but after reading "On Self-Reliance" and "A Sound of Thunder" it's all coming back to you now.
The dream started badly. You were in line with your family at a [restaurant] waiting to be sent to [universal studios]. Everywhere you looked there were posters of president-elect [goofy], looking like a crazy [monkey] who could eat a whole [banana].
Suddenly, there was Ralph Waldo Emerson telling you, "[Society is a wave]." You realized that you have something to contribute to the world so you decided to [laugh]. But it wasn't easy. First you had to put on a fancy [shirt] and [pants] and then you had make a [house] to go back in time to the [park] so you could convince people to learn about the candidates and the [problems].
But right there in the [park] there was a giant [elephant] and it started [jumping] at everyone. People started to [scream]. You grabbed a [towel] from a nearby [store] and yelled [stop]. Everyone stopped and listened, so you kept going.
Both of the essay "On Self-Reliance" and "The Sound of Thunder" are both very interesting. Both of them have something in common and I think that it is to always trust yourself and do not care what other people say or think about you. I strongly agree with Emerson on trusting yourself and how "Society is a Wave." The story of "The Sound of Thunder" was very interesting and so interesting how a little mistake can change the whole world and the whole future.

MY SHORT VIGNETTE
I would like to go back in my childhood when I was a little girl that didn't do anything and someone who didn't have any problems with anything or with anyone. I wish that I could go to the past so I could have more fun with my grandma. I wish that my childhood when slow and that it would be for a long time so I wouldn't have to grow up. If I was in the past I wish that I could see the future so I could make the make decisions in my life and not make any mistakes that I later want to take back but I am not able to anymore.

The story was so interesting when I started reading it I couldn't stop. It was so cool how they went to the past and just because Eckels stepped on dirt the world changed just because of a little thing. It was so interesting how the dinosaur was explained and how the story had so much detail to it that I imagined myself there.

EMERSON'S CHILD
Emerson's Self-Reliance essay is so good because it has great ideas and how we should trust ourselves to matter what we are dong. At first it was pretty confusing but the I understood it and I took some quotes from the story to find out the meaning of the quotes. His ideas are very good because they show how someone doesn't have to depend on someone else and they don't depend on another person. I think that everyone should be individual and I think that Emerson would agree with me because that is the whole purpose of this writing.
Emerson had quotes on his writing like "Be Yourself" and "Trust Yourself." I think that this part is really important. I think that this means to always trust yourself and don't care what other people think of you. "Yourself" means only you and not another person. When I do something and I tried my best, I need to trust myself that I did a good job and not have doubts of what I did because I know that I tried my best. For me Self-Reliance in other words means "Trust yourself." This quote is the main idea of the whole writing.
When I am all by myself I always do the right thing. I am not one of those people that do something bad when nobody is looking. I always try to do the right think because if I don't do the right thing I would feel guilty for what I did when I was alone. Most of the time I am happy and I am always respectful to the people that surround me. For me true nature means the negative feeling that a person has I don't know if it is right but I think that is what true nature means. Sometimes I get mad or have other feelings when someone doesn't do the right thing that they are suppose to.
Everything that Emerson said on Self-Reliance was true all about trusting your self to Society being a wave. Everything that Emerson said mostly everyone does it everyday just that we don't even know it and he uses most language than we are uses to talking or hearing.

My experience on the PSAT

My American Voice
I think that a good time to speak up is standing up for someone that is being treated bad or friends talking on their backs. I call it responsibility because each of us have a responsibility of talking care of one an other and treating each other with care. Yes I do speak up, but sometimes it depends on the situation. If the fighting is strong I will go look for an adult but if there is not fighting involved and only words I do because everyone need to respect one another. No, I will never speak up if I see a girl cheating on her boyfriend or a guy cheating on their girlfriend because I think that it is their relationship and I should not get involved. Also, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Yes I do I tell them, I tell them to calm down and think before speaking. When I speak up I speak up kindly because I don't want to make the problem bigger.

Someone that respect my authority is my sister and my two brothers. The always listen to me and do whatever I tell them to do. Sometime I get my siblings in trouble because they always listen to me.

I think that the inciting incident was when the voice the police car came up to the Leonard Mead. He was expecting a man, but it was only a flashlight and a voice. It was so weird how the voice just told Leonard to go in the car.

The debate tonight was pretty strong. I was watching it while doing my homework. Hilary was talking about Trump owing to much taxes. In my opinion I think that Hilary won. She was talking about her point and explaining it really well. Trump wouldn't interrupt Trump but Trump would keep on interrupting Hilary.

MY AERIES
On the essay I got an A-, I was really proud of myself. I tried my best used the notes I took during class to help me write the essay. I think that I received an A- because I included everything that the question told me to answer. I feel that in the vocabulary I am not doing to well. I think that I deserve at least a B or in not a low A I have been working so hard. I am up to date on my blog I have posted over 13 times.

Literature Analysis questions #1
- So far the book is about this girl named Ashleigh. She has a boyfriend named Kaleb and he is in the baseball team. She also has a friend named Vonnie. She also has this other friend that really doesn't care about her named Rachel. Vonnie makes the best parties at her house while her parents are gone. Asleigh's boyfriend is going of to college and she thinks that he is going to meet other girls that are gonna be cutter than her. Kaleb has been spending a lot of time with his baseball team that he didn't go to the party with Ashleigh. Vonnie and Rachel are telling Ashleigh to make a big mistake because Kaleb will meet other girls in college but she is thinking about sending him a picture.
- I think that the theme of this novel is to think before doing something that could affect you.
- I think that the author gets up late . I think that she does drink coffee. I think that the author like to do exercise. i think that the author does eat breakfast like healthy food. Think that the book is kind of her life in the past. Probably she made a big mistake that really affected her.

"Young Goodman Brown" Questions
- I think that Hawthorne's purpose of writing the story is to explain that people could be evil sometimes.
- Yes, I think that the name Faith fits with the story. Faith is a very nice young lady she doesn't want her husband leave but he has to. He does have faith in his wife but doesn't have faith anymore in his thoughts.
- I think that the pink ribbon symbolizes the innocence of Faith and when it falls it symbolizes how he lost his Faith.
- Everthing that Brown went through was a dream I think that it was all because he lost his faith and then he dies.

Why is your big question?
I thought the article was saying nothing but the truth. Everything on it was so true. When I was small I wouldn't care if I would fall down. It is true. Many people have questions about everything. Why are there so many cultures? Why are people different?

The Earth on Turtle's Back
I think that the story was so interesting. It was so interesting how the animals tried so hard to bring the earth up. I think that a lesson for this story is to never give up because you can accomplish anything you want. When the story ended I just had one question. How are the other people get down to earth?
